Science
This half term we are looking at evolution and inheritance, how animals and humans have changed over time. We will look at what fossils can show us about the past and how animals adapt to their surroundings. We will be identifying and matching adult animals to their young. We will identify similarities and differences between adults and their young as well as learning the correct names for animals and their young.
History
In History, we will be looking at how life in Britain changed during the 20th Century. We will focus on leisure and entertainment across the decades from 1920’s up to the 1980’s. We explore artefacts, photographs, new reports, adverts and other texts to help us understand how life has changed and the reasons behind this. We will begin to understand significant events and inventions of the 20th Century and their impact on life today.
