Maths
This half term in Maths we will be learning place value and number skills. Over the half term we will learn to count forwards and backwards in ones from any number up to 100. We will also learn to count in different ways, including 2s, 5s and 10s. We will learn to read and write numbers in words to 20 and in digits to 100, as well as represent these numbers with drawings or maths equipment. We will learn to solve problems using all four operations. We will get a chance to apply what we know to a problem-solving task to help us use our mathematical knowledge in new contexts which helps us to consolidate what we know.
